Editorial Policy
Last reviewed: 2026
WikiPeps is an independent educational resource. This policy describes how we create and maintain content, how we handle errors and corrections, and how we preserve editorial independence from commercial interests in the peptide industry.
1. Our editorial mission
We publish practical, well-sourced educational content about peptides, injection technique, reconstitution science, and related topics. Our goal is to give people accurate information so they can make informed decisions — not to promote any product, protocol, or vendor.
All content is for educational purposes only. Nothing we publish constitutes medical advice. See our Medical Disclaimer.
2. How we research content
Our research process follows this hierarchy:
- Primary literature — peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses sourced from PubMed, bioRxiv, and similar databases. We cite these directly.
- Manufacturer and regulatory documentation — FDA labels, EMA assessments, package inserts, and official pharmacopoeial monographs where applicable.
- Established clinical or technical guidance — where relevant, guidelines from recognized professional bodies on injection technique, sterility, or compounding.
- Community field data — observations contributed by community members. When used, this is clearly labeled as anecdotal and not presented as clinical evidence.
When the evidence base is limited, preliminary, or conflicting, we say so explicitly. We do not overstate certainty.
3. Writing standards
- Plain English. We write for the intelligent, informed layperson — not for researchers, but not dumbed down either.
- Claims are specific and source-linked where possible.
- We distinguish between what evidence shows, what it suggests, and what is purely theoretical or anecdotal.
- We do not make dosing recommendations for human use. Dosage information presented reflects published research contexts only.
- We do not name, recommend, or link to peptide vendors or suppliers.
4. Review process
All content is drafted and reviewed internally by the WikiPeps editorial team before publication. Where we engage external clinical reviewers in the future, their names, credentials, and date of review will be disclosed on the relevant page.
Every content page carries a “last reviewed” date. We aim to review library pages and guides at least annually or whenever significant new research is published.
5. Corrections policy
We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently.
- If a factual error is identified — whether by a reader, community member, or internal review — we will correct it as quickly as possible.
- Significant corrections (errors of fact that could affect reader decisions) will be noted at the top of the corrected page with the date corrected.
- Minor corrections (typos, formatting, broken links) are made without a formal correction notice.
- To report an error, email hello@wiki-peps.com with the subject “Content correction.”
6. Editorial independence
WikiPeps LLC does not accept payment for editorial coverage, paid placement, or sponsored content. We do not accept advertising from peptide vendors, compounding pharmacies, or anyone selling regulated substances. The editorial team operates independently of the commercial side of the business.
Our only commercial activity is the sale of general injection-supply kits. This business model is designed to align our commercial incentive with editorial quality: the better and more trustworthy our content, the more useful and relevant our supplies become.
7. Community contributions
Community members may contribute field notes, protocol observations, and corrections. All community contributions are reviewed by the editorial team before publication. Contributed content is clearly labeled as community-sourced where it differs from primary literature. Contributors are not paid and do not receive editorial control over how their contributions are used.
8. AI-assisted writing
We may use AI writing tools in the drafting process. All AI-generated drafts are reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by human team members before publication. AI tools do not determine what we publish — human editorial judgment does.
