Trying to get better at reading certificates of analysis before trusting what a label says. What do you look at first — purity percentage, mass spec, or something else?

Reconstitution math without the panic — a worked example
Education only. Example: 5 mg powder + 2 mL bacteriostatic water = 2.5 mg/mL. To draw 250 mcg you need 0.1 mL, which is 10 "units" on a U-100 syringe. Slow down, write it out, double-check before you ever draw.

The thing nobody explains: "units" on an insulin syringe are a VOLUME marking, not a dose of anything. mg/mcg are mass. Reconstitution is what connects them. Worked example in the next post.
